Volunteering

Studies indicate the parents who are involved in their child’s education and school, demonstrate that education is important and encourage their children do better in school. Volunteering is a unique and exciting experience which benefits both the school and the volunteer.

We ask that each family volunteer for a minimum of 10 hours a year. We have a variety of opportunities for parent to volunteer and share their time and talents: chaperoning field trips, helping with school events such as the Marathon and Track & Field Day, assisting with health screenings, monitoring the playground, tutoring students, helping classroom teachers, building upgrade projects, boy scout/girl scout leaders, coaches, Education Advisory Committee, and numerous Home and School Association activities.

Holy Trinity staff appreciate the time and talents volunteers share with the school community. Please see our handbook for complete guidlines regarding volunteerism.

As part of an Archdiocese policy, a background check and a one time attendance at a Virtus training is required for all volunteers.
