I have been a Catholic school principal in this Archdiocese for 31 years and am very happy and excited to have the oportunity to continue this ministry here at Holy Trinity. I believe in the importance of having a faithful, vibrant Catholic spirituality that pervades the entire life of the school, a very strong academic program featuring outstanding teachers and small classes, and an overall school environment that combines love, good discipline (respectful behavior and attitudes) and joy. My wife, Mary Kay, and I have been blessed with five wonderful children. My interests include spending time with my wife and family, walking, golf, Notre Dame football, most other sports and reading (especially theology and history).

I was born and raised in Indiana and moved to Minnesota when I married a native of Minneapolis. This is my third year at Holy Trinity, and my 24th year teaching God's wonderful children. This year I find myself back teaching second grade, after two years in fourth grade. Second grade was my first love. I love the excitement with which the children approach school at this age. They love learning new things, and showing what they have already mastered. I consider it a blessing to prepare children to receive both the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist, and my own faith grows throughout the year.

I love being a part of the Holy Trinity family, where education and spiritual growth go hand in hand.

I am delighted to be teaching at Holy Trinity School. It is a clear sign of God's faithfulness in my life to be here sharing my love for learning with my faith in God.

I graduated from the U of MN-Minneapolis with an accounting degree. After volunteer work with children, I realized it was more life giving to me to work with children. I decided to become a teacher. I graduated with a Masters of Education degree from the U of MN-Minneapolis. I have been teaching for over 12 years since changing careers. Ten of those years were spent at Visitation School in Minneapolis. I look forward to building relationships with my fifth grade students as we share, study and learn to love one another in Christ.
