Holy Trinity School is a parish school and a Catholic faith
community of students, parents/guardians, and staff working
together, striving to create a Christian learning environment
in which our students can fully develop their spirituality,
character, skills, and knowledge.
The Saint John Vianney/Holy Trinity Junior
High program provides an educational environment strengthening
our young adults through academic excellence, spiritual growth,
social development, and self-discipline.
Our students take the Metropolitan Achievement
Tests and OLSAT in grades 3, 5, 7, and 8. The students consistently
score above their ability level. In eighth grades our average
scores are in the post high school range.
Our Philosophy
Spirituality and Character will be enhanced through:
- Appreciation and application of living faith and faith
practices
- Respect for self, others, and the environment
- Appreciation and application of Christian values and good
citizenship
- Involvement of parents and guardians in the learning experience
Skills will be developed through:
- Curriculum which emphasizes mastery of basic skills and
high standards
- Introduction, development, and reinforcement of motor
skills
- Opportunity for the arts, language classes, and technology
training
Knowledge will be fostered through:
- Appreciation of humanities
- Expectations and challenges of higher level thinking skills
for all students
- Reinforcement and evaluation of skills taught
As a parochial Catholic School, we want
to provide this educational opportunity to as many students
as possible. We hope to achieve our goals through cooperation
and accountability from all members within our Catholic faith
community.
