INTRODUCTION


The Spanish program at the Holy Trinity School is from Kindergarten through Eighth grade.
Kindergarten and First grade have 30 minutes each class, twice a week.
Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth grades have 35 minutes each class, twice a week as well.
Sixth, Seventh and Eight grades have 45 minutes each class and twice a week.

The Spanish curriculum provides the students a positive experience in the target language.

The Spanish teacher use different methodology and theories to improve the learning of the child such as TPRS (Teaching for Profiency throught Reading and writing Storytelling) TPR (Total Physical Response), Multiples Intelligences and American Sign language .

The students participate in games, songs, drama, reading ,writing and other activities that make the student feel comfortable in the process of learning a foreign language.
